UPDATE......

I have been so busy making everyone's Halloween Treat Boxes that my Halloween Shape book got put on the back burner. Hopefully I have time to work on it this weekend and get it done!!! I will post pics as soon as I can.

CRICUT HELP TO GET YOU STARTED ~ HOPE THIS IS A LITTLE HELP

I had a lady, who scrapbooks and who also has a cricut, come to me today with some questions. I know exactly how I felt when I got my cricut, I didn't know where to start!!! Below are some tips that help me on my way.

I would recommend signing up on the website, sometimes there are point rewards in the cartridges that you can chose different rewards and sign up to receive their news letter. There is always support and help when you need it and tons of ideas. But please give credit when credit is due when using someone else’s ideas.

My next project......The Shape Book! Yes it's about Halloween time and I came across a tutorial on how to do a shape book from Bugjunkie.blogspot.com; she gives very detailed videos on how to create your shape book, they are wonderful!!! Sympathy Frame

Here is a frame I did for a co-worker. Her brother just passed away, for the last 2 years he lived with her and she’s took care of him. So of course they were very close. She wrote a letter to hand out at the visitation to let close family and friends know what Tommy has went through for the last
2 years, so I took the letter shrunk it down, took the death announcement and a copy of a poem out of her card book that she had me copy for her. She had no idea that I was doing this for her and I brought into work for her yesterday, she said it was the best gift anyone could have given her. The blank square at the top is for a picture to be inserted. I thought it turned out really nice and now she wants me to make two more for Christmas gifts for her sisters.
